DC Unlimited’s World of Warcraft Succubus Figure
DC Unlimited’s releasing a figure of my most favorite World of Warcraft character evar, teh Warlock succubus, and I’m excited about it since my desk is hiring for badass piece of plastic that sits there and keeps all the other pieces of plastic in line(Must know MSOffice).
That’s awesome! Fuck yeah! Been wanting them to make a Succubus figure since I first saw her. I mean, being able to gain a succubus as a pet in WoW greatly influenced my descision to play as warlock class, aside from being a class whose form of attack is essentially a death remote(More on that later.)
So I’m pumped that they’re making a succubus figure, and would like one very much, but…
It’s not set to release until April 1st. Crap. That’s 6 months from now. What am I supposed to do in the meantime? Buy the World of Warcraft minatures in hopes of scoring an itty bitty Succubus figure? No thanks! (Though I might try. >_>)
But what I thought was really interesting was that in finding out about this figure being released I came to realize just how much I love succubi(Plural form of succubus if you don’t catch fastballs). From Viper GTS’es Carrera to Darkstalker’s Morrigan to Mabinogi’s Succubus to WoW’s Succubus, I really like succubi.
There’s just something that’s so awesome about their mythos.
But anyhow, the figure’s being released on April 1st, so there’s still the possibility that it’s all one elaborate April Fool’s joke, in which case I’ll be visiting DC Unlimited’s offices and HULK SMASH their watercooler + break room table.
…With the face of the guy who thought it’d be a great April Fool’s joke.
And about Warlock, those guys are death machines. Their damage over time spells make it so they literally have the ‘Remote Control of Death’. They’re the one class who can enter a room, point at several somethings, and with a flick of a wrist, make them die. Plus they can setup TiVo. Warlocks are not to be fucked with. Maybe their armor rating’s not that great, but as long as a warlock stays alive, death reigns supreme.
Plus they get a demon entourage, headlined by a smoking hot succubus whom they’ve made their bitch(through a quest.)
And I want a figure of her. NOW.
