Carrerachan is a brand new image board I created to satisfy the need for a Viper image board and to also make up for the lack of image boards related to my interests of fighting games, mmos, 2D graphics, and visual novels. It runs on Kusaba 1.0.4 and is fitted with a custom template with colors taken directly from Carrera as she appears in Viper V6R.

I got my copy of the English version of Thunder Warrior Raidy last night. (Yeah! That’s right postal service, deliver import pornography FOR AMERICA!) YES. O_o
I haven’t played it yet. Like I mentioned before, I’m not expecting the story or dialogue to be Shakespeare. Still! I’m interested in what the characters have to say(aside from the moaning) and how they’re characterized. I’m being optimistic and assuming that granted that so much work was put into their visual design a fair amount of work must have been put into their personality as well.

ZyX did a minor update on the upcoming Thunder Warrior Raidy 3.
Not much is known so far. From machine translation the most I can gather is that the dark elf, succubus, and werewolf from the first game will be joining Raidy this time around and the story revolves around them having to protect a town in order to help pay back a humongous bill they ran up at the town’s Inn. With extra characters on Raidy’s side I suspect they might include a party system.
It looks like they’re keeping the same artist, though it looks like he may be getting some help; the image on the top page has some of the characters done in a different style.
Unlike the first two Raidy games that were remakes, the 3rd game’s completely new. Hopefully, ZyX’s gotten a good enough feel for the Raidy games to make a decent sequel, as TWR2′s a tough game to beat.

This is great news as well, though I’m not going to get too excited since I know it’s going to be a long time before it’s released. TWR2′s easily triple the size of the original and I expect the time spent on the translation and decensoring to reflect this. Who knows? Maybe the turn around time will be much shorter and we’ll be getting this mid-summer.

Suprise! This game takes almost as much initial investment as a real woman. Before you can play you have to create all of the women who’ll inhabit your world(up to 5), and assign eight different sets of clothing for each one less they run around naked. There’s two for day to day stuff, and one for school, work, bathing, sleeping, cute, erotic, etc.

Why:
When these were first put up, Rumble Roses doujinshi was still considered scarce. However, now that it’s much more common a central location for downloading Rumble Roses doujinshi is no longer needed. Convenient, but no longer needed.
More importantly, the site’s disk quota has been used up. In order to introduce new content to other parts of the site some old content must be removed. (In this case, I wanted to upload the Thunder Warrior Raidy 2 CG set, but couldn’t because it’s 189 MB and we only have 66 MB left. O_o)
So, sorry Rumble Roses fans. At the least, there’s the possibility that these’ll be reposted at a later date in a convenient .rar format.
Also, this is no grand conspiracy. I’m coming flat out and saying that I’m taking stuff out of the gallery that isn’t Viper, Variable Geo, or Takehiro Kimura related.
I originally was planning on doing away with the gallery completely in favor of readding everything as direct downloads in the shop, but didn’t after relizing how convenient searching for pictures is in the gallery.
I mean seriously, who doesn’t love being able to search Akira and getting 11 pages of pics? (Nevermind that each pages only shows 10 at a time. ~_~)

I looked through my logs and found that I had over 300 MB of storage space used up by spam mail. I promptly deleted it, and had more than enough space left over to do what it was I wanted to do before.
And then I turned around and deleted all of the Rumble Roses doujinshi from the gallery anyway! MWHA HA HA HA! Where’s your sense of justice now, huh?! There’s no happy times in Mudberry now, I just struck out your star pitcher!
In all seriousness, this’ll lead to more direct downloads. Yay.

Here’s some of the better/interesting games I found on it:
For starters, the majority of the Viper/Animahjong games for the PC98.
Next up’s Dragon Half. It’s a game based on the anime series of the same name. Or is this one based off the manga? For sake of argument, it’s based on the franchise. Don’t know what Dragonhalf is? Holy crap, where have you been? It’s only one of the funniest anime ever made. The manga’s been translated into English too.
I also found Variable Geo 1 and Variable Geo 2: Bout of Cabalistic Goddess. Also by Takehiro Kimura, Steam Hearts. CG for these games have been in the gallery for a long time, and now the curious can actually play them. The original Variable Geos aren’t the best fighting games, though Steam Hearts is way ahead of it’s time.
I’ll post more later. This post was actually supposed to be out like last week. -_-;
I have no idea what the title of this game means. Something about a town.
Anywho, what I’m expecially concerned about concerning this rip is that I’ve only managed to unlock 98% of the CG for this game.
That means that lurking somewhere within this game’s one or two CG I’ve yet to unlock.

But, I can’t always do that. It’s true that I’ll go the extra mile pretty much everytime, but even I have my limits. (Stop crying and venture through paragraphs of incomprehensible Japanese text for the good of the internet. Save private Rya–I mean those one or two CG that are missing. Ed.)
Through powers granted to me by this glorious internet I was able to fully extract all of Thunder Warrior Raidy 2′s CG. *FF victory music plays*
But now that I have them I can’t decide what to do with them. They took quite a bit of trouble to get despite my using programs that automated parts of the process. That said, I don’t want to just throw them up as a link somewhere. I don’t want to put them in the gallery or in the forum shop either.

Does anyone else on the internet care that I have these?
Internet, if you care and want these CGs, then please give me a sign and comment this post. If not, please say nothing and I’ll keep them to myself.
Speaking of Thunder Warrior Raidy, I still have to batch convert all of the CG I extracted from the PC98 version of Raidy 1 and 2.
Aside from that…
Don’t get me started on Monzetu Fighter! That is one awesome game that I’ll be writing a full article on in the later post.
One thing’s for sure, now that I’ve gotten back into CG extraction I’m going to try ripping CGs from a few other games too. Right now I’ve got my sights set on Anomachi no Koinouta, which was the last h-game Takehiro Kimura worked on.
Finally, I really need to get back to working on my own visual novel game, ‘Yuke, Yuke, Yukichan!’. I already started work on a few chapters and I hate to leave things unfinished.
Honestly, I haven’t gotten this excited about a hentai series since Erogos’es games, and before that, Viper. Through diligent searching and my patented brand of Google-Fu, I managed to learn all sorts of stuff about Thunder Warrior Raidy.
For one, my earlier notions that it was originally a PC98 game were in fact correct. As a matter of fact, there were two Thunder Warrior games on the PC98; Thunder Warrior Raidy 1 and it’s sequel, Thunder Warrior Raidy 2.
Though I don’t know the artist’s name, it looks like the CG for the original Thunder Warrior Raidy was drawn by the same artist who drew the CG for Ring Out!, another infamous hentai game for the PC and PC98. Though Ring Out!’s nowhere near as cool as Raidy, it’s fairly well known on the internet amongst the hentai community since it’s one of the first hentai games to be distributed and translated domestically. Not to mention, it also features lesbian rivalries. What’s the correlation? I think either the artist liked to draw games like that, or was typecast into the role. They probably made CG for a few other hentai games on the PC98, though I haven’t seen anything that suggests they’re still making CG for hentai games today.
I searched high and low for Raidy stuffs, and came across none other than…

The super sexy super lesbian Thunder Warrior Raidy has been picked up by G-Collections for a domestic release (over the internet) and full English translation!
…It’s just too bad that I’ve already seen the full CG set for this game like 3 months ago. Here’s the CG set for the Japanese version, of which I can attest is most awesome.

Still, I can’t help but get excited about this release since if the quality of the CG and its subtitle title “Remake” tell us anything, it’s that this is a hentai game with some polish and some history behind it. Though I know next to nothing about this series, the most I can gather is that its a remake of an earlier PC9800 game(of which I was able to find a single screenshot of) and features a heroic heroine who controls lightning and engages sexy versions of classic fantasy monsters and has winner takes all lesbian sex with the bosses featuring a variety of fetishes.

Anyhow, I’ll be picking up a copy when it comes out despite already having the CG set for it. The domestic version’ll probably have all of the voices, music, and graphics completely intact, but more importantly will be uncensored and might even (hopefully) include some bonus stuffs.
Not to mention, it’s always nice to be able to play an H-game and understand just what the hell the characters are saying. I know I’ve stumbled through my fair share of import ones while only being able to pick up on a few key Japanese words and phrases like yamete, dashite kudasai, ooki chinchin, ii wa yo, asoko, omanko, irete kudasai and the like. Kudos if you know what any of those words mean.

I also found a review for the sequel of the original Windows game (the 256 color one) at Densetsu.com. That site should be ashamed of itself. They’re still using the same custom BBS system the owner threw together after a few php classes. It’s 2007, and there’s hundreds of complete, professional, and free forum systems available! But that’s for another blog entry…
As if one Thunder Warrior Raidy game wasn’t awesome enough, it looks like a second one’s set for release in March 2007, according to ZXY’s official site.
Hey! Wait! I know what you’re thinking. It’s way past March 2007 now. Why haven’t we seen this on the internets yet? I’m as stumped as you are, but will do some hardcore searching(with a nailbat and tables) to find out if anyone’s released it yet, or better yet, if it’s available for purchase or download on some obscure Japanese h-game site(aren’t they all? Don’t mention Getchu. >_>)
Pre-emptive Edit #2: I managed to find downloads for full versions of Thunder Warrior Raidy 1 for PC and Thunder Warrior Raidy 2(!!!). I rule.
Looks like Death Marine from HShare managed to get a copy of it, and put up a torrent for it. I’m going to rip the CG from the second game once I’ve got it downloaded. My only real setback is…There currently are no seeds. O_o…

Last month 9,146 visits to this site were done with a Playstation Portable. Around this time last year, people were visiting the site on their Dreamcasts. People with crazy operating systems like FreeBSD, Debian, and AmigaOS tend to visit too.
