So…I decided to put all my future articles on the new Congress of Awesome blog and to convert this existing blog into a personal one. It really should be one since it’s called ‘Hyperguy.net’ after all. I mean, designwise, the name would be rather misleading otherwise. Could you imagine someone’s disappointment upon visiting?
Possible HG.net Visitor: “What? This is Hyperguy.net? But there’s no information about Hyperguy whatsoever! What a waste! Screw this, I’m going to go play stickball.exe! Fuckin’ night elves what the fuck with them.”
So fuck it. Go to the Congress of Awesome blog for cool things. I’m just going to talk about stupid shit nobody cares about(With the exception of myself!) here. O_o
But yeah! One thing that I wanted to write about today is the concept of web identities. Read more

What it is: Rumble Fighter(Known as Gem Fighter in Korea), is an up to 8 player online fighting game that plays like Powerstone, but with greater emphasis on fighting(as opposed to throwing tables) and fighting styles. After each fight players earn carats they can use to learn new fighting styles, customize their character, or buy exocores(powered up states that give you more attack options). Read more

Hi! Recently a friend of mine instant messaged me and asked if I’d seen the Berserk anime. I told him that I had only played the Dreamcast video game. Then, from the mists, that infernal creature of the dark regurgitated like a reviving corpse into my memory. Of course, I’m talking about the Demon Boss you meet during the middle stages in Berserk. Now, this guy has a name, but even if he didn’t to all gamers we would be known as FEAR, but to me, he will always be known as
THE DEMON BOSS

A picture of THE DEMON BOSS from the Berserk anime. He may look like most other demons, but I can assure you, he is Satan on a stick.

My last playthrough of Mabinogi someone mentioned to me the existence of a private server for Phantasy Star Online. Now, Phantasy Star Online was the very first MMO I played back in 2300 B.C., and I played it on the Dreamcast with the neat keyboard pheripheral.

So I did some research on it, since you know, I’ve got a black belt in GoogleFu, and found this:
:D!!
Not only is it a private server for Phantasy Star Online, but it’s one that, that… Read more
Seriously.
Just look at that navigation bar on the right. —>>
It’s a mess! Not to mention lots of parts of the site are still underdeveloped despite this site being almost five years old.*
*AMAZING FUN FACT: On April 12th, 2008, Hyperguy.net will be five years old.
Hell, the sections are loosely defined as well. It wouldn’t kill me to define a single section and update it periodically instead of the sporadic updates and random articles I’ve been known for.
It’s kind of silly actually. In all this time, I still hadn’t made a purpose for the site other than ‘I think I need a website’. I don’t know. I’d just feel a lot better knowing that all of this was for a reason. That all of the time I’ve put in was for something important other than “hey internet people lololololololol”(though now that I think about it, that counts too.)
Then again, looking back at it all…
Gradually I’m starting to get tired of well, everything on the internet.
I really feel like I’ve done all that I’ve wanted to do on it. I know there’s so much more but it feels like regardless of the content it’s not going to amount to more than clicking and typing.
And when I’m posting on other people’s sites for forums I feel like that’s time I really should have spent on Hyperguy.net.
RuminaSkybreaker (2:06:28 PM): MY COUSIN CALLED ME. O_O
RuminaSkybreaker (2:06:43 PM): It’s been years since I’ve heard from her.
RuminaSkybreaker (2:06:48 PM): I don’t like her at all!
RuminaSkybreaker (2:07:15 PM): In Puerto Rico, we have the equivalent of a hilbilly. We call them “Jibaros”.
RuminaSkybreaker (2:07:32 PM): She’s a jibara, a spanish hilbilly. >_>;;;
RuminaSkybreaker (2:07:57 PM): So, I wanted to just text her my address…
[ Hopefully entertaining content ]
It’s 2008, and I’m not even trying anymore.
In April, this site’ll have been 5 years old! Whoo hoo!

RuminaSkybreaker (8:44:27 PM): So, I ordered some pizza.
LiamMagicMan (8:44:35 PM): Cool
LiamMagicMan (8:44:37 PM): I’ll be right over
RuminaSkybreaker (8:44:45 PM): And man, Pizza Hut is really pushing this ‘Mia’ pizza thing.
RuminaSkybreaker (8:44:52 PM): So the pizza gets here and I eat it and…
RuminaSkybreaker (8:45:01 PM): It tastes like pizza.
RuminaSkybreaker (8:45:36 PM): WTF Pizza Hut? You spent a bajillion dollars going on and on about how this is special flour, special cheese, and special “mia” pizza sauce and shit tastes like pizza. Read more
My hard drive died.
It was a 200GB hard drive.
On it…
WAS EVERYTHING.
Hopes, dreams, files, and gigs and gigs of raw internet. I named it “Avatar of Might” after the M:TG trading card.
It really is a pain. I’m not too worried about it though, since there are ways of recovering data from dead hard drives(though I think it’s pricey).
Some things I’ll miss:
I have no idea what the title of this game means. Something about a town.
Anywho, what I’m expecially concerned about concerning this rip is that I’ve only managed to unlock 98% of the CG for this game.
That means that lurking somewhere within this game’s one or two CG I’ve yet to unlock.
O_o
Egads!
That drives me insane!
Because you see, I’m Hyperguy and I try my very best to always get it right, 100% perfect the first time.
But, I can’t always do that. It’s true that I’ll go the extra mile pretty much everytime, but even I have my limits. (Stop crying and venture through paragraphs of incomprehensible Japanese text for the good of the internet. Save private Rya–I mean those one or two CG that are missing. Ed.)

Yesterday was amazing. Today even moreso. I honeslty don’t know how I do it. Yesterday I got a 10 to 7 shift and ended up coming home to lots of freetime, which I promptly wasted dicking around on the computer.
Highlights!
I posted on the Congress of Awesome a lot, and get this…on Gaia! Turns out ROMate’s account was hacked on there. I almost got my own account details pilferred when I followed a link from a PM sent to me by the hacker through ROMate’s account. Luckily the hacker’s domain has been shut down so they weren’t able to get my info too. Read more

Seriously. If the Hyperguy of 2003 and 2007 met, we wouldn’t recognize each other.
To confess, I don’t care as much about hentai nowadays as when I first got into it. Mainly because all of the stuff I’ve seen’s saturated my brain to the point that the new stuff really has to stand out in order for me to care at all. I’ve just got too much stuff downloaded on my computer that I really have to sift through it all just to make any sense of what I have. (lol @ Anonymous’es folder catergorizing scheme: Fapped/Unfapped)
I also don’t care about anime as much as I used to. This actually has nothing to do with anime’s appeal so much as why I found it appealing in the first place. For whatever series of insecurities, at one point for me liking anime was cool because it was like being a part of some secret club that spoke it’s own secret moonlanguage, and watched amazing and awesome shows that no one’s ever heard of.
