Fuck yeah Pi Story closed beta another Korean MMO graphics look like Star Ocean 2’s battle mode for PS1 hell yeah I’m all over this.

I got(received) an invitation for the closed beta of Pi Story in my GmailBox. At first glance, this game looks like your typical anime infused free yet pay to enjoy run of the mill Korean RPG.

Hyperguy.net is now five years old. Holy ship!
This site was first created on April 12th, 2003. Though the official birthday was last Saturday, I’m celebrating it now.
To celebrate I’ll be working on the layout some. Big deal, right? Not really. Layouts were never my strong point, but something has to be done and I’m tired of the lack of personality this current layout has. Plus I wanna make the site much more even if means just doing it a little bit at a time.
So, don’t freak if you find something out of place. And if you have a suggestion, I’m listening.

I got my copy of the English version of Thunder Warrior Raidy last night. (Yeah! That’s right postal service, deliver import pornography FOR AMERICA!) YES. O_o
I haven’t played it yet. Like I mentioned before, I’m not expecting the story or dialogue to be Shakespeare. Still! I’m interested in what the characters have to say(aside from the moaning) and how they’re characterized. I’m being optimistic and assuming that granted that so much work was put into their visual design a fair amount of work must have been put into their personality as well.

Thunder Warrior Raidy 3 update

ZyX did a minor update on the upcoming Thunder Warrior Raidy 3.
Not much is known so far. From machine translation the most I can gather is that the dark elf, succubus, and werewolf from the first game will be joining Raidy this time around and the story revolves around them having to protect a town in order to help pay back a humongous bill they ran up at the town’s Inn. With extra characters on Raidy’s side I suspect they might include a party system.
It looks like they’re keeping the same artist, though it looks like he may be getting some help; the image on the top page has some of the characters done in a different style.
Unlike the first two Raidy games that were remakes, the 3rd game’s completely new. Hopefully, ZyX’s gotten a good enough feel for the Raidy games to make a decent sequel, as TWR2’s a tough game to beat.

This is great news as well, though I’m not going to get too excited since I know it’s going to be a long time before it’s released. TWR2’s easily triple the size of the original and I expect the time spent on the translation and decensoring to reflect this. Who knows? Maybe the turn around time will be much shorter and we’ll be getting this mid-summer.

On the idea of meaningful sections I think I’m going to go for a once a month update scheme. I know, it doesn’t sound like much, but what I’d like to do is update several sections at a time every month.
Two sections I’d like to work on include a featured hentai series section and featured character section. Every month I’ve been telling everyone about h-games I’ve been playing anyway so I don’t see why I shouldn’t give it its own section and make it a reoccurring feature.

Hell, the sections are loosely defined as well. It wouldn’t kill me to define a single section and update it periodically instead of the sporadic updates and random articles I’ve been known for.
It’s kind of silly actually. In all this time, I still hadn’t made a purpose for the site other than ‘I think I need a website’. I don’t know. I’d just feel a lot better knowing that all of this was for a reason. That all of the time I’ve put in was for something important other than “hey internet people lololololololol”(though now that I think about it, that counts too.)
Then again, looking back at it all…

Gradually I’m starting to get tired of well, everything on the internet.
I really feel like I’ve done all that I’ve wanted to do on it. I know there’s so much more but it feels like regardless of the content it’s not going to amount to more than clicking and typing.
And when I’m posting on other people’s sites for forums I feel like that’s time I really should have spent on Hyperguy.net.
